FAQ ~ Questions I've been asked and (some tongue in check) answers
" Do you only care for Golden Retrievers?" ......No, I care for Golden Labs also.
"Will you sleep with my dog or cat?"
.......I have slept with dogs before but as a light sleeper I would prefer to sleep alone...
"How long have you been doing this?" ......I have been care giving for living things since I was a child. Full time pet sitting has been my joy and job for the last 2 1/2 years.
"Do you take care of snakes?" .......Yes. "Will you feed them little white mice?" Yes. "Will you play with them?" No.
"Do we need to leave you food?" As a cook and nutritionist I don't think you could guess what I eat if your life depended on it! No, I will bring my own food, and water and ......on the same topic - I don't smoke, I only drink about 1/2 glass of wine a month and my idea of a party is two people, so rest assured I will not empty your wine cellar, etc.
"Will you feed our squirrels, raccoons, deer, wild turkeys and the neighbors cat?" .........I'm not suppose to feed wild animals, but I understand if I don't you won't have a garden when you come home......
"How much do you charge?".......I can only give you am estimate until I see the whole situation. Each persons definition of a few plants or a short walk sometimes vary and I have had feeding instructions that covered the kitchen counters and included 15 different types of "substances".
